Vollgas zum Studienstart – Die VWL-Ersti-Rallye 2025!

Was haben Zaubertricks, Bobby-Cars und Kastenlauf gemeinsam? Richtig – sie waren alle Teil der legendären Ersti-Rallye der VWL an der Uni Bonn!

Schon bevor es richtig losging, wurden die frischgebackenen Erstis mit liebevoll gepackten Ersti-Tüten versorgt. Gefüllt mit allem, was man so zum Überleben der ersten Vorlesungswoche so braucht: Kugelschreiber, Spaßgetränke, jede Menge Gutscheine und wenn man Glück hatte, war sogar ein Pizzaschneider oder Kaffeebecher dabei. Nicht nur ein Highlight für die Erstis, sondern auch für die Fachschaft jedes Jahr ein Vergnügen.

Dann hieß es: Sieben Teams, ein Ziel – Ruhm, Ehre und jede Menge Spaß.

Rund um den Hofgarten verwandelte sich Bonn in ein Spielfeld der etwas anderen Art: Beim Lieder-Tanzen, Kastenlauf oder Bobby-Car-Rennen war kein Einsatz zu groß und keine Aufgabe zu verrückt. Kreativität und Motivation wurden mit Extrapunkten belohnt – und so sah man Zaubertricks, Menschenpyramiden und erstaunlich schnelle Trinkkünste in Aktion.

Am Ende triumphierte das unschlagbare Team Rubiks Kube, das mit Cleverness, Teamgeist ihre Mitstreiter-Teams knapp überholt.

Zum gemütlichen Ausklang traf man sich anschließend zu einem gemeinsamen Grillen im Juridicum-Innenhof, wo neue Freundschaften geknüpft, legendäre Geschichten geteilt und die ersten Insider-Witze der VWL-Familie geboren wurden.

Diese Ersti-Woche hat gezeigt: VWL in Bonn kann mehr als nur Theorien und Diagramme. Hier wird Teamgeist gelebt, gelacht und vielleicht auch ein bisschen getanzt.

Full speed ahead for the start of your studies – the 2025 Economics Freshers‘ Rally!

What do magic tricks, Bobby Cars and box races have in common? That’s right – they were all part of the legendary Economics Freshers‘ Rally at the University of Bonn!

Even before it really got started, the new freshers were provided with lovingly packed welcome bags. Filled with everything you need to survive the first week of lectures: pens, fun drinks, lots of vouchers and, if you were lucky, even a pizza cutter or coffee mug. Not only a highlight for the freshers, but also a pleasure for the helpers from our student council.

Then it was time for seven teams to pursue one goal: beating the competitors.
The Hofgarten in the heart of Bonn was transformed into a playing field of a different kind: when it came to song dancing, box running or Bobby Car racing, no effort was too great and no task too crazy. Creativity and motivation were rewarded with extra points – and so you saw magic tricks, human pyramids and amazingly fast drinking skills in action.

In the end, the unbeatable Team Rubiks Kube triumphed, narrowly overtaking their fellow teams with cleverness and team spirit.

To round off the day in a relaxed atmosphere, everyone gathered for a barbecue in the Juridicum courtyard, where new friendships were formed, legendary stories were shared and the first inside jokes of the economics family were born.

This welcome week showed that economics in Bonn is about more than just theories and diagrams. Here, team spirit is lived, laughter is shared and maybe even a little dancing.
